John Heath has taught my two daughters since 2005, starting when they were five and six years old.  He has done a remarkable job in helping them develop their musical talents.  While emphasizing both theory and performance, he gives them the latitude to select the types of songs that sparks their interest (Hanna Montana is one example).  He is an extremely capable and patient piano instructor.  We also appreciate his flexibility in accommodating our sometimes hectic schedule of school and extra-curricular activities.          - Dennis Honan

My daughter has taken piano lessons with John Heath for six years, beginning at age 5.  In all that time she has never had a bad word to say about John’s instruction!  John is a patient and gentle teacher whose first concern is that the student enjoy playing piano.  He gets the kids to play a nice variety of pieces, from blues to classical, while paying attention to the particular likes of a given student.  I’ve also spoken to John several times over the years to ask his advice or for his help in motivating my daughter, and he has always been generous with his time and wisdom.
